9/11 Memorial and Remembrance Walk

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, in partnership with the City of Presque Isle, will host a 9/11 memorial ceremony and remembrance walk on Friday, Sept. 11. A brief ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the flag in front of Preble Hall and will include speakers from UMPI and the City of Presque Isle. There will then be a moment of silence, followed by a remembrance walk around campus with participation from the Presque Isle Police and Fire Department.
