Join the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce as we hold our 8th Annual “Chamber’s Smokin’ BBQ Cook-Off”!!

If you’re a backyard griller or a professional, we urge you to sign up and prove whose BBQ is the best!!

Competition Categories

Backyard Division
Designed for hobbyists and casual cooks:

• Individuals or teams who do not cook professionally
• No commercial catering or food sales as a primary business
• Intended for first-time or recreational competitors

Professional Division
Designed for experienced cooks:

• Individuals or teams who operate a BBQ business, catering service, or food truck
• Competitors who regularly participate in sanctioned or unsanctioned events
• May use advanced equipment and techniques

Official rules will be emailed to you and are available at the Town Office.

If you just like to eat BBQ, we will have you covered! You can buy tickets to taste all of the amazing BBQ the Grill masters will provide.

Please remember there is a limited amount of People’s Choice tickets being sold to sample the food.

There will be food, drinks and lots of fun!

Event Schedule (Sample)

• 6:00 AM – Team Check-In/Load-In
• 7:30 AM – Cooks Meeting
• 8:00 AM – Cooking Begins
• 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Public Tasting
• 4:10 PM – Voting Closes
• 4:15 PM – Awards Ceremony
