SUMMARY:Learn to make ceramic pots by hand
DESCRIPTION:Two part class offering an introduction to hand-building ceramic pots. Great for all experience levels. \nEach student will receive 1lb of clay and will be taught pinching and coiling techniques to create their own unique vessel. Size of the final piece depends on this clay limit\, desired final item\, and student pace. Realistically\, students can expect to create something equal to the size of a coffee mug or small bowl. \nFor ages 5 years and older. Classes will be held completely outside. Be sure to bring sunblock\, snacks\, and water. All art materials will be provided. \n— \nDates: Saturday\, August 8 and Saturday\, August 15 2026\nTime: 1-4pm\nLocation:Bishop’s Garden & Studio\, 1057 Crystal Rd\, Island Falls\, ME 04747\nAges: 5+\nPrice: $50/person; $15 for kids 10 and under (use code BISHOP-KIDS26 for kids 10 and under)
