However\, running a business is not inherently draining — especially when you have the tools to set healthy boundaries. \nIn this 6-week cohort led by Hannah Curtis\, we will combine structured discussions and skill-building instruction to help you learn to say no\, set limits\, prioritize your work\, and build and grow a business that really works for you. \nJoin a group of supportive women business owners from all around Maine who are ready to work on boundaries to sustain their businesses together. \nWho Should Attend? This multi-session peer group is designed for Maine-based female business owners who are currently in business. This event will raise funds and awareness for The Northern Lighthouse Safe Harbor Shelter and Transitional Living Program. During the event\, guest speakers from throughout Maine will discuss reasons why youth would be in a situation of runaway or homelessness; including: human trafficking\, domestic violence\, substance abuse\, and family financial instability. Fun activities such as bonfires\, s’more bars\, food trucks\, and more! We will also have Aroostook County organizations tabling to inform participants about their services. \nEach event guest will agree to pledge $50 to support funding for The Northern Lighthouse shelters to attend. \n4.2 million young people face homelessness each year in the United States. The Northern Lighthouse welcomes youth with more than just a safe bed\, warm meal\, and clean clothes – we provide a community\, opportunity\, love\, and respect. Together\, we can help care for youth overcoming homelessness in Maine. \nBring your chairs & blankets\, and join us for an evening of awareness and fun!
