DESCRIPTION:Join us at Ignite PI as we collaborate with author and executive coach Margaret H. Greenberg for the next installment of our Ignite You series! Her workshop will be held May 13th from 9 AM – 12 PM at The Northeastland Hotel. Margaret will be speaking about “Changing the Way We Think About Change: 3 Tools to Flourish\, Not Just Cope” \nWe used to think of change as something we went through\, as if it had a beginning\, middle\, and an end. It was something we had to cope with until things went back to normal. Today we know that’s a myth. Change is everywhere — at work\, at home\, in our communities\, and beyond. And the pace of change is only accelerating. It’s not so much what we do with all of this change\, but how we choose to respond to it. In this workshop\, you will learn three tools from the science of positive psychology that will help you flourish both personally and professionally. You’ll also have time to apply what you are learning with a group of other professionals. It will also feature a provided lunch with Margaret. If you have your own business\, lead one employee or one thousand\, or hope to someday\, this workshop is for you. This workshop will be led by executive coach\, positive psychology pioneer\, and coauthor of Profit from the Positive\, Margaret H. Greenberg. \nWe will also be including Margaret’s book\, “Profit From the Positive\,” as part of your ticket for those who would like to read some of her work beforehand! Books can be picked up at the front desk of The Northeastland by showing the reception agent your confirmation email. Those who bring their book with them to the workshop will be able to have it signed by Margaret.
