SUMMARY:Telling Your Stories: Lessons from Mel Allen's Lifetime of Writing & Editing
DESCRIPTION:Using stories he published from first-time writers\, Mel Allen will share what he has learned during his decades of writing and editing for Yankee Magazine. \nAttendees will learn the qualities of successful stories and pitches. Each participant is encouraged to submit a writing sample up to 1\,000 words to be used in discussions. \nThe workshop registration fee is $20 ($10 for students) and may be paid in advance or at the door. Space is limited.
